About us

Meet Chris & Heather

Our Story

It all began with prayer—and an email.

Welcome to The Ridge.

We're Chris and Heather LoCurto. What started as a simple search for ten acres, a garden, and a few chickens has become something far greater: a place intentionally created for healing, hope, and restoration.

From Personal Healing to a Bigger Calling

Both of us have walked difficult health journeys. Chris lives with heavy lead toxicity, and I battle Lyme disease and lead toxicity. Early in our marriage, we realized we needed to be proactive—not just about our health, but about how we lived. We wanted to know where our food came from, how it was grown, and whether it truly nourished the body.

As nutrient-dense, clean food became harder to find, our desire for land grew stronger. When we found this property, we knew almost immediately that God was doing something much bigger than we had imagined.

Harvesting Healing & Hope

The Ridge quickly became a place of gathering.

A place of fellowship.

A place to walk through the woods, wander alongside the creek, nap beneath a towering oak, and finally exhale.

Here, people slow down. They unplug. They breathe again.

Lost things begin to be restored.

In 2021, we began transforming 55 acres of undeveloped land—once home to little more than a barn and a water source—into a thriving regenerative farm. Through intentional stewardship, we set out to restore life to the soil, increase biodiversity, and create a safe haven where people could rest, find solitude, and grow closer to God.

  • It Takes a Village

Today, alongside an incredible team, we are reawakening this land. Every animal has a role. The cows, sheep, goats, chickens, guineas, gardens—even the bees—each play a vital part in regenerating the soil and restoring balance to the ecosystem.

This is an adventure. One filled with trials and tribulations—but always rooted in hope.

    Our Mission

To steward the land well, nourish families deeply, and live out faith through honest work.

    What We Believe

    • Food should be nutrient-dense, clean, and traceable
    • Farming should restore the land, not exhaust it
    • Animals deserve respectful, attentive care
    • Community thrives when people know their farmer—and their food

This farm is more than a business.

It's a calling to do things the right way, even when it's slower or harder.

    What We Offer

    • Raw A2/A2 dairy from pasture-raised Jersey cows (milk, cream, crème fraîche)
    • Pasture-raised eggs
    • Humanely raised chicken
    • Seasonal produce grown with regenerative practices
    • Small-batch, thoughtfully sourced farm store goods aligned with our values

Everything we offer is food we proudly feed our own family.

    Thank you for being here.

Follow along as we continue this journey—harvesting healing and hope.
